BowSeat True Blue Fellowship for Young Ocean Advocates 2025

Previously known as the Fellowship Grant Program, this initiative is dedicated to supporting youth-led projects that spotlight environmental and climate issues through creative expression. The program was founded by the Future Blue Youth Council (FBYC)—a network of Bow Seat alumni—who envisioned equipping peers to build a healthier, more sustainable, and more just world.
Project Guidelines
Your proposal can be short-term or long-term, but it must align with the fellowship’s mission. Projects should:
- Use art as the central tool for inspiring action and spreading awareness.
- Actively involve and engage local communities.
- Deliver tangible, measurable benefits to people and the environment.
Fellowship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
The fellowship is open to young people across the globe who:
- Are 13–24 years old at the time of application.

- Can provide proof of age and identity if requested.
- Submit only one application per person.
- Present a project that is new or in its early stages (not older than two years).
- Link their work to the protection of oceans, water systems, or climate issues while using creative arts as the driving force for impact.
